Gasworks - Magnolia - Alki Beach

A great in town ride is Gasworks Park through the Ballard Locks
to Magnolia Bluff and then through downtown to Alki Beach.

This route includes a little of everything from bicycle trail
to urban streets, from flat riding to steep climbs.

It is also a fun route because of all the exciting places
that it passes along the way, ship canal, locks, Puget Sound,...

The mid way stop for refreshments and socializing is the Alki Bakery
in West Seattle which has the best of pastries and sandwiches.

And, on the way riders pass through the new Olympic Sculpture Park
for a little bit of culture to go along with the exercise.
