you can add in the Cedar River Trail at the end of the lake
which will give you an easy extra 20 miles on flat paved trail

July 12th, Sunday, Whidbey Island Choochokam Arts Ride
Ride Start: Mukilteo Ferry Dock, Mukilteo, WA
- Map/Directions.
Meet: 9am for 9:30am ferry.
Levels: Social and Intermediate.
Ride Distance: 14, 23 or 36 miles.
Ride Terrain: Rolling/Hilly.
Lead: Jim 206-232-1967.
Ride Details:
Meet at the ferry dock for the Mukilteo Ferry to Clinton.
Bring $4.95 for ferry fare.
Whidbey Island is noted for hills so all riders must be prepared to do some hill
climbs with their bikes, though the shorter the loop the less the climbs so they
shouldn't prevent any level rider from going.
The 14 mile loop is just from the ferry dock at Clinton to Langley and back. The 23 mile loop
has a small additional loop added in so that you would get to Clinton at the 16 mile marker.
The 36 mile loop gets you to Clinton at the 30 mile marker.
What this all means is that you can select the distance that is right for you and we will
all meet in Clinton for the Choochokam Arts Festival for nourishment and socializing. See
www.choochokamarts.org for
festival details.
Bring snacks with you for mid ride breaks or buy snacks along the way. There is an excellent
bakery in Clinton, groceries in both Clinton and Freeland, and you can buy food at the Festival.
